Sail boat charter is possible everywhere along the Croatia Adriatic coast, multiply charter companies offer sailing boats in all sizes, and the boats can be rented without or with skipper. Even for experience sailors the 1244 Island in Croatia is a magnificent sight and perfect spot for a unique sailing experience. In most marinas, Sailboats can be rented from April till October but it is also possible to find yacht charter companies, providing boat outside of this period or even for whole year rental.

The most popular sailboat types in Croatia are Bavaria, Jeanneau and Dofour but also boats from other sailboat manufactures, like the Split based Salona boats, can be rented in Croatia, if you prefer special type of boat be sure to note that when you send request for a sailing boat rental, in most cases the yacht charter companies can fulfil any wish, but additional charges may apply.

Where to rent Sailboat:

Along the Adriatic coast there is plenty of yacht base marinas, where numerous yacht charter companies have boat available, In Istria the major marinas for Sail boat charter is Pula, Porec and, in middle Dalmatia Biograd na moru and Murter are quite popular, further south in Dalmatia, the cities Marina and Kastela are some of the largest yacht bases. In total Croatia has more then 25 yacht base from where a sailboat can be chartered.

Costs of Sailboat rental:

The prices of renting of Sailboat is of course depending of a number of parameters, such as size of the Wessel and time of year where the sailboat is rented, other factor to consider is if boat is returned to different Marina, after ending of the charter period.

For a typical 40 foot boat there is berth cost of app 30-60 Euro / day, if you wish to rent a skipper count with 100 Euro/day.
